Preventive events for public
Škoda Auto supports health prevention not only for its employees, but also for communities in the regions where its plants operate. In autumn 2023, the company launched the campaign Health Matters, which promotes physical and mental wellbeing, encourages regular medical check-ups, and fosters open communication about one’s health. Under the umbrella of this campaign, the company also co‑organizes public events such as Women’s Health Days, Men’s Health Week, and the popular Family Health Day.
Škoda Auto is additionally involved in various public events across its plant regions that showcase health and social services or promote overall health and wellbeing.
Car for the Clown Doctor
Zdravotní klaun (Medical Clown) is a charitable organization that has been helping primarily pediatric patients, as well as seniors, go through the treatment process with a smile since 2001. Škoda Auto has been supporting Zdravotní klaun for more than 20 years. The company provides financial support and also lends vehicles on a long-term basis, enabling professional clowns to travel to patients in hospitals, senior homes, and hospices across the Czech Republic.
The vehicle design is created by children as part of the Car for Zdravotní klaun’ competition. More information about the organization and how to participate in the competition can be found here.
